Whitetail
Did you know Michigan has the highest deer per square mile average in the Nation? Did you know that in 2007 Michigan was the only state to harvest 4 bucks over 200". In 1999 Michigan harvested over 544,000 whitetail's. Which is second only to Wisconsins 618,000 plus in 2000. In the top thirty single season harvest records Michigan ranks first. Being noted nine times with Texas being noted seven.
Here at Thunder River Outfitters we harvest many 130-150 class bucks each year. All our hunts are conducted on farm land in Gladwin, Clare and Kalkaska, counties. Our lands produce corn, soy beans, rye and alfalfa. Along with many food plots for nutrition and big racks. We have over 2500 acres in Michigan that you can choose from.
